and interpreting electrophoresis and immunofixation studies,
cardiac marker tests, body fluid examinations, performing
method evaluation studies and participation in quality
assurance and other section management activities. The
successful candidate must have adequate clinical skills to
be able to interact with laboratory technologists, nursing
staff and consulting physicians. Preference will be given to
candidates with a record of scholarly activity and
publications, who have demonstrated independent research
and/or collaborative research with clinicians or basic
science investigators. Additionally, participation in
teaching of fellows, postdoctoral trainees, medical
technologists and students is required. Salary is
commensurate with experience and academic qualifications.
