Plant Clerk of Works/Field Representative (Temporary)
Phillips Academy seeks a temporary, full-time Clerk of Works
(CoW) to represent the interests of the Addison Gallery of
American AARRTT (AGAA) Project. The CoW will ensure that the
quality standards of materials and workmanship are in
accordance with the design specifications and drawings, and
monitor the adherence to the established project schedule.
Responsibilities include regular inspections of the work on
site, arranging for quality check of building materials,
recording results, identifying defects, liaising with
architect, AGAA staff, contractors, engineers and surveyors
and monitoring, recording and reporting progress to the
Project Manager and AGAA. A majority of the tasks will be
performed at the job site in a construction environment
which will demand exposure to varying weather conditions,
varying working conditions, and periodic loud noises.
