Engineer/Project Manager (07367 ) Will act as project
manager and lead mechanical design engineer on higher
education, healthcare, industrial, and government projects.
Project Manager responsibilities include budget and schedule
control, contractor tendering, client liaison, contract
administration, issuing change orders, evaluating and
mitigating claims, preparing reports, and quality
control/assurance. Lead Technical responsibilities include
serving as mechanical lead and project technical manager on
projects including design of healthcare facilities, central
heating and cooling plants; campus-type utility distribution
systems; energy audits; and building mechanical systems
(HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection). Technical
responsibilities include layout of facilities; conceptual
plant design; cost estimates; coordination between
engineering disciplines and client; preparation of
specifications for equipment and systems; report
preparation; supervision of technicians and junior engineers
on a project team basis; determining code requirements;
reviewing design computations; reviewing drawings and
technical specifications; and traveling to manage projects.
