2007 The successful candidates will develop an externally
funded independent research program, contribute to the
undergraduate and graduate teaching mission of the
department, and interface with our new Nutrition and
Wellness Research Center. Many opportunities for
collaborative research exist within the ISU community.
Excellent department and campus facilities are available,
including a human metabolic unit, as well as genomic,
proteomic, and metabolomic cores. Competitive salary and
start-up packages will be provided. Requirements: Applicants
must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in nutrition or
closely related field. Successful candidates will have a
background in understanding the development,
pathophysiology, prevention, or treatment of chronic
disease, with an emphasis in energy metabolism and obesity,
