district salary schedule Job Summary: The instructional
assistant will aide the teacher for SSIIXX hours, four days
per week, and approximately four hours on Wednesdays during
the student school year. The primary purpose will be to
assist with the delivery of instructional and
non-instructional services in the kindergarten and/or
resource room. Responsibilities will vary with the
individual assignment, but typically include instruction of
students, behavior management, preparation of materials,
testing, record keeping, and supervision of students in the
classroom, lunchroom, and on the playground during recess.
