Class D or above desirable. Journeyman Electrician
Certificate required. FUNCTIONS: Supervises the
construction, repair and maintenance of all main and standby
electrical systems and related equipment in County owned
buildings, systems, and facilities. REASONING ABILITY/OTHER
SKILLS & ABILITIES: Ability to define problems, collect
data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability
to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions
in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several
abstract and concrete variables. Ability to read &
understand blueprints, must be able to compile and write
formal equipment and system bid specifications. Must be
capable of maintaining a 1000 amp, 3 phase, 600 volts or
less system as a minimum requirement. The employee must
regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift
and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally life and/or
