Qualifications:A degree in journalism or English, or
equivalent newsroom experience, Strong writing and
communication skills, with knowledge of AP style, Sound news
judgment, Strong time management skills, Ability to manage
assigned news beat and produce compelling news articles and
features, Ability to design strong news and feature pages
utilizing Quark, Ability to take digital photos to
compliment news articles and features, Ability to process
photos utilizing Photoshop, Operational knowledge of
Internet and e-mail. Other information:This is a 45-hour per
week non-exempt position. Includes night and weekend hours.
