Librarian (Chief, Music Division) Vacancy Announcement
#50893. Description: The individual selected for this
position will receive the applicable locality pay
adjustment. The Chief, Music Division, directs and fosters
growth and maintenance of the general and musical performing
arts collections and facilities, and works toward increasing
their use on a national and international basis. Individual
will be responsible for developing policy for acquisition of
collections, soliciting and negotiating with prospective
donors as well as directing, selecting and coordinating the
Library's concerts and music festivals. The Chief will work
with outside scholars, organizations and societies to
increase awareness of the collections and encourage growth
of programs in the fields of music and performing arts.
