Much of the film is historical in that it will be filling the viewer in on events of the past (events that most audiences will know nothing about), but the subject matter is also extremely relevant today. The base built on the homeland of our main "characters" has played a large role in Iraq and Afghanistan, and is suspected of being OONNEE of the infamous secret detention centers. This is a broad, story-driven documentary that will require a talented editor to condense to feature-length. Up to this point we have been supported almost entirely by individual donors, with money going directly into production costs. We have applications pending with grant organizations, and are pushing for many upcoming deadlines so we can meet post-production costs.
