towards project manager and lead mechanical design engineer
on higher education, healthcare, utility plant, and
industrial projects. Technical manager on projects including
design of central heating and cooling plants; campus-type
utility distribution systems; power plant refurbishment
projects, cogeneration studies and design implementation,
central plant energy optimization projects, and building
mechanical systems. Technical responsibilities include
conceptual plant design; cost estimates; coordination
between engineering disciplines and client; preparation of
specifications for equipment and systems; report
preparation; supervision of technicians and EIT engineers;
determining code requirements; reviewing design
computations; reviewing drawings and technical
specifications; and traveling to manage projects. Must have
strong technical knowledge of chillers, boilers, turbines,
pumps, fans, engines, high temperature hot water heating
installations, and high temperature hot water and steam
