Title: Reference Librarian Department: Babson Library Reports to: Director, Babson Library Appointment: Full-time, Sunday - Thursday workweek Position Band: 31 Status: Accepting Applications Description: Responsible for providing in-person and virtual reference service; assisting patrons with computer searches; and assisting in collection development. In addition, this position will be responsible for designing, teaching, and assisting faculty to learn the skills necessary to incorporate information literacy into the academic curriculum. Duties include: conducting reference interviews to determine information needs; explaining and teaching informational resources; participating in library liaison program with assigned academic departments; and participating in the Library’s information literacy instruction program. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited institution required. A minimum of TTWWOO years experience in library services preferred.
