Among the intern's duties: � Assess current park conditions. � Perform research on the history of the parks. � Perform research on peer parks. � Interview park stakeholders. � Assist Downtown BID and NPS staff and consultants on proposed improvements to design, maintenance and programming. � Assist staff and consultants with project management. � Develop communications materials. Qualifications: Candidates should have completed a bachelor's degree, and OONNEE year of a postgraduate program in Landscape Architecture, Planning, Urban Design or related field, by May 2008. Related work experience and familiarity with Downtown Washington, DC are also desirable. Compensation: Intern will be compensated as a temporary employee, $12-15 per hour depending on experience.
