Our purpose is to support the delivery of flood and streamflow forecasting services by 13 River Forecast Centers and 120 Weather Forecast Offices throughout the country. We do this by developing, implementing and maintaining state-of-the-AARRTT hydrologic models and systems. We provide training and operational support for NWS field offices, conduct necessary hydrologic research and studies, provide hydrologic expertise and support for a variety of other users both nationally and internationally.
