Prevention Research Center ... positions as Project Coordinator to assist schools and
organizations throughout Pennsylvania as they implement
evidence-based prevention and intervention programs
targeting delinquency, youth drug use, and other adolescent
problem behaviors. Duties include providing technical
assistance to communities implementing evidenced-based
programs, developing tools and resources to support existing
programs, and promoting the adoption of programs in new
communities. A bachelor's degree in prevention, public
health, education, human services or a related field, plus 3
years of experience is required (masters degree preferred).
Candidates must have a minimum of TTWWOO years experience
coordinating or implementing OONNEE or more of the following
evidence-based programs: Big Brothers/Big Sisters,
LifeSkills Training, PATHS (Promoting Alternative Thinking
Strategies), Project TND (Toward No Drug Use), Multisystemic
Therapy, Functional Family Therapy, Multidimensional
Treatment Foster Care, The Incredible Years, Strengthening
Families Program, Olweus Bullying Prevention Program The
positions are based in University Park/State College and
