Transport Nurse will work with a paramedic or advanced EMT
Critical Care and drive/EMT-CC, as a team to treat and
transport acutely ill or injured patients in Northern New
York. An extended scope of practice includes: Endotracheal
intubation, Rapid sequence induction, escharotomy, and
needle chest decompression. Non-transport time is spent
providing care in a community, acute care hospital Emergency
Department or ICU. Requirements: Registered Nurse with at
least OONNEE year of critical care, trauma, Emergency or
applicable experience. Have or able to obtain valid RN
licensure in New York. Transport experience and ACLS prior
to hire preferred. Must obtain ACLS, TNCC (or equivalent),
PALS and NRP within 1 year of hire. Department:
FACT-Fletcher Allen Coor Trans. Location: Medical Center
Campus. Hrs per week: 12. Shift: Night. Hours:
