hygiene programs. The assignment also includes curriculum
development, participation in the governance process through
normal professional activities, committee work, and student
activities. The assignment may be at any of the college’s
teaching locations and may involve day, evening and weekend
assignments. Required Qualifications 1. Master’s degree in
any biological science OR Bachelor’s degree in any
biological science AND Master’s degree in biochemistry,
biophysics, or marine science OR Hold a valid credential to
teach in the discipline OR Meet equivalent qualifications
established by the District, AND 2. Evidence of a
sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic,
socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds
of community college students. Desirable Qualifications §
Master's Degree or above in anatomy or physiology. §
