PRESS SECRETARY For over a century, the National ... freedom. NCJW seeks a full-time Press Secretary
in its Washington office, reporting to the Director of
Washington Operations. This new position is designed to
raise the visibility of NCJW in the media and to better
position NCJW and its programmatic initiatives both
externally and internally. RESPONSIBILITIES: Identify and
develop integrated media and advertising strategies, tools,
and events to publicize NCJW to external audiences; Create
and maintain a press list for NCJW; Develop and maintain
contacts with relevant Anglo-Jewish and general media, and
(where appropriate) Israeli media; Handle incoming media
requests; Write, edit, and disseminate press releases,
advisories, op-eds, and letters to the editor that promote
NCJW, its programs, and public policy issues; Assist with
the development of key messages for issues and campaigns and
coach NCJW spokespeople for interviews and speeches;
