field or allied field (i.e. sports management, leisure
studies, therapeutic recreation, or other recreation
degrees) and three (3) years experience as stated in A); or
(D) Bachelor's Degree and three (3) years experience
conducting multiple public or not-for-profit recreational
programs and/or activities; or (E) Possession of a current
Certified Leisure Professional or Certified Park &
Recreation Professional status conferred by the National
Recreation and Parks Association or OONNEE of its authorized
and recognized affiliates and three (3) years of paid
experience as in A) above; or (F) Credits completed toward a
Master's Degree in any of the fields specified above may be
substituted for the required experience at a rate of 30
credits = 1 year. *NOTE: Education beyond the secondary
level must be from an institution recognized or accredited
by the Board of Regents of the New York State Department of
Education as a post-secondary degree-granting institution.
