language is limited to Spanish in legally authorized court
proceedings. Adherence to the Kentucky Code of Professional
Responsibility for Interpreters will be required. Other
duties as required by the General Manager of the Department
of Juvenile Services and Program Supervisor of the Court
Interpreting Services Division will be required. Must be
willing to travel. Qualifications include Bachelors degree
in the Interpreting Language (Spanish), legal studies
(paralegal), public administration, political science, or
other related fields is preferred. However, experience in
court interpreting may be substituted on a year-for-year
basis. A minimum of TTWWOO years professional experience
providing interpreting services, preferably in courtroom and
other legal settings, may reflect on a candidate’s
