Environmental Impact Statements or highway-related
Environmental Assessments. A strong background in
environmental disciplines such as noise, water quality,
socio-economics and ecology is needed as well as experience
with public involvement and technical writing.
Responsibilities include preparation of environmental
reports and supervising other engineers, scientists, and
technicians in the development of these reports. Position is
40 to 45 hours per week, is exempt from overtime, and will
include minimum travel, supervision from senior staff and
