■ Performs visual and dimensional inspection on metal
keys. ■ Performs visual and bar code scanning of key
cards. Interprets complex engineering drawings and
specifications and uses trigonometry to determine unstated
or hidden dimensions. ■ Enters data on control charts
and documents out-of-print dimensions. Notifies Lead when
inspection data does not meet acceptable limits. ■
Performs random audits on outgoing customer shipments to
ensure orders are accurate and complete. ■ Supports
the Manufacturing Department by participating in problem
solving activities. ■ Interacts with Engineering and
Manufacturing staff to resolve quality issues. ■
Maintains inspection and auditing records, blueprint files,
and procedure manuals. ■ Uses calipers, micrometers,
steel rules, comparators, pin and force gauges, thread
gauges, hand trucks, pallet jacks, surface plates, drop
