We presently operate eight vessels based in Juneau. They are all high-speed, waterjet-powered catamarans (built in our own Sitka shipyard) that have been specially designed to enhance our guest's comfort and tour experience. All Juneau-based vessels are rated to carry up to 150-passengers, and they typically operate with a 6-person crew: a captain, a lead deckhand, a naturalist and three passenger service crew. Many of our crew and support staff return to work with us for several seasons, and many do similar "outdoor adventure" jobs, in other parts of the world, during our off-season months. Positions that are available in Juneau include: Captain Requires a USCG master's license (100 ton minimum) and an FCC marine radio operator's permit.
