Tenant Selection File Maintenance
The Housing Authority of Kansas City, Missouri is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Tenant Selection File Maintenance.
Youth Services Coordinator
Work involves processing prospective resident applications in an efficient manner and ensuring that applicant files are maintained in order. This individual will coordinate mailing verifications, inputting the data on the computer system and organizing client files. This individual will also need to become aware of all of the federal preferences and screening regulations as well as participate in application session.
â¢ Graduation from a senior high school or GED equivalency.
â¢ Two (2) years of experience operating electronic information processing equipment, and must be able to type at least 50 wpm.
â¢ Must be detail oriented, organized and have good public communication skills.
The Housing Authority of Kansas City, Missouri is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Youth Services Coordinator. This position is responsible for seeking new programs and overseeing all youth program in the community centers.
Essential Job Tasks:
â¢ Explore youth programs that may benefit public housing youth and youth in the surrounding community.
â¢ Monitor all youth activities in the community centers.
â¢ Work with the community providers to assure safe programming.
â¢ Assist community providers when they have property maintenance problems.
â¢ Serve as liaison between the property manager and the provider, to assure the needs of the provider are met.
â¢ Work with the tenant representatives when new programs are being introduced.
â¢ Assist in seeking funding for new programs.
â¢ Responsible for outreach strategies and to promote all programs within the public housing developments.
â¢ Work with the tenant representatives in capacity building.
Qualifications: Prefer a Bachelors degree in Social Work or related field with an emphasis in program planning and design. Previous experience working with youth groups and in community development is desired.
