Chief Executive Officer
Friend Community Healthcare System (FCHS) is seeking a Chief Executive Officer with a minimum of five years of successful leadership experience. A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a healthcare related field is required. A Master’s degree in Health Care Administration is preferred. The CEO is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the hospital and its entities; establishing a system for assuring that high quality care is provided; assuring the sound fiscal operation of the hospital while promoting services that are produced in a cost-effective manner; ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies while continually monitoring the organization’s service and delivery system; ensure optimal fulfillment of the institutions charter, mission and philosophy in response to the identified needs of the community. As well as provide timely responses to Medical Staff, employees and patients. Vice President of Revenue Management
Sanford Health, a $4 billion integrated health system and the largest employer in the Dakotas with 43 hospitals and nearly 250 clinics, is seeking a Vice President of Revenue Management to oversee the entire revenue management process. Located in Sioux Falls, SD or Fargo, ND the Vice President will be responsible to ensure maximization and revenue and cash flow while maintaining the highest levels of patient, physician, employee and other customer relations.

Specific areas of responsibility include the standardization of policies and procedures; enhancement of workflows with a focus on automation and efficiency; oversight of applications and process training; and monitoring of revenue cycle key performance indicators across the entire spectrum. The Vice President, Revenue Management will be responsible for providing leadership in the ongoing development, implementation and overall management of Sanford Health Patient Financial Services, Admissions, Patient Registration, Patient Access, Health Information,Management and Coding operations.

Requirements include:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in facility and professional revenue cycle operations with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role. Managing revenue cycle operations through a system conversion is strongly preferred.
  • An undergraduate degree with concentration in business administration, finance or accounting is required and a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated extensive knowledge of third-party and insurance company operating procedures, regulations and billing requirements, and government reimbursement programs.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing admissions, patient registration, time of service collections and charge entry functions in an enterprise setting.
  • Excellent command of medical information systems for registration, scheduling, billing and accounts receivable, reporting applications, medical terminology, and coding.
  • Must possess superior communication skills, demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment, and be able to effectively integrate front and back-end work processes and personnel toward a common goal.
